ACCOMMODATION

The main buildings offer a choice of beautifully appointed suites and double rooms, (7 suites and 2 double bedrooms)
which, named after flowers, all boast prestigious furnishings and fine furniture.

A top quality brand of mattress has been selected for our beds to ensure your best possible night’s sleep.
In point of fact, the Firenze, Extra Comfort, Visco Mind Matress, 29 cm thick, is the perfect mattress to guarantee maximum comfort. This comfort is achieved by the presence of pocket – springs with a differentiated load-bearing capacity combined with a layer of Extra Fresh Visco Mind R, which memorises the human form.
The mattress is covered with an innovative Elastitex fabric, treated with the plant derived Geraniol No Bed Bugs product, in order to forestall any such eventuality.

Finally, the four perimeter sides are covered with the breathable fabric, Air Space by Per Dormire Hotel, another innovation guaranteeing its maximum ventilation.

On your return to your room, after a day at our pool or a walk in the enchanting woods, an Alessi Kettle will be waiting to provide you with a hot herbal or fragrant tea.
Designed by Michele De Lucchi, an architect with a passion for craftsmanship and sculpture, the thermoplastic, resin, kettle combines functionality with a fascinating plasticity in its design.Just as a pleated fabric is transformed into a 3 dimensional object so this kettle evokes a haute couture suit – a splendid object to be placed on view.

THE PINK PIMPINELLA SUITE

This suite, approx. 46 sq. m., has a private entrance, private courtyard and a mountain view.
It consists of a large living area, with a sofa, pouf, corner mini-bar and kettle, a double bedroom and bathroom.

The large, light double bedroom has a king size, double bed, wardrobe and desk and overlooks both the valley and the Borgo. A retractable, flat screen TV in an elegant travertine unit completes the furniture.
The bathroom, from which there is a splendid view of the Borgo, is equipped with a tempered glass, walk-in shower.
There is cable radio in all rooms and a safe is provided.

The suite is named after the Pink Pimpinella wildflower whose leaves have a fresh flavour, reminiscent of walnuts, with an aftertaste of cucumber. The plant has aromatic, astringent, digestive and medicinal properties regarding blood.

The furnishings, being pink, bring to mind this flower. Pink is considered to be a symbol of youth and new-born love and is associated with selflessness and true love. It is the colour of emotion, an emotion that can lull strong sentiments into gentleness and depth of feeling. It gives us affection, love and protection taking away loneliness and rendering us more sensitive.

THE WHITE ACHILEA SUITE

This suite, approx. 46 sq. m., consists of a large living room overlooking the mountain, a double bedroom also overlooking the mountain and a bathroom overlooking the Borgo.

The living room is furnished with two elegant, comfortable sofa beds , a wardrobe, a fine large desk, a wall TV, a mini bar and a kettle.
The spacious master bedroom has a king size, double bed, a retractable, flat screen TV in an elegant travertine unit, cable radio and a safe.

The suite is named after the white Achillea, a perennial, belonging to the Asteraceae family, prevalent in Italy. Its pink or white flowers, or more precisely flower heads, form thick umbels and release a delightful fragrance.

This plant provides us with truly precious natural remedies. It is, in fact, a powerful, natural, anti-inflammatory analgesic whilst also having antiseptic, astringent and digestive properties and is even a mild sedative.
In the kitchen it is widely used for digestive and relaxing infusions.
White in chromotherapy is used not only to stimulate body cells and endocrine glands but also to help synthesize vitamin D.

THE TURQUOISE VERONICA BEDROOM

This spacious double bedroom, approx. 24 sq. m. is situated on the middle terrace. It has a comfortable, king size ,double bed, a large wood wardrobe, a corner mini-bar and a kettle.

The bathroom, with a beautiful view of the village and the mountain, is equipped with a tempered – glass, walk-in shower.
A retractable, flat screen TV in an elegant, travertine unit completes the furniture. Cable radio throughout is provided as is a safe.

Veronica, after which the room is named, is one of the most frequently used plants in herbal medicine and is used for the preparation of infusions and herbal teas to combat colds, digestive disorders and many skin complaints. On account of these beneficial properties, which have been appreciated in pharmacopeia since time immemorial, it is known as Swiss tea in many parts of Europe.

The colour turquoise, a blending of blue and green as in the sea, combines both the serenity of blue with the harmony of green.

THE BLUE CORNFLOWER BEDROOM

This spacious double bedroom, approx.24 sq. m., is situated in the vicinity of the middle terrace. It has a comfortable king size, double bed, a fine, spacious, wooden wardrobe, a corner mini-bar and a kettle.

The bathroom, with a beautiful view of the village and the mountain, is equipped with a tempered – glass, walk-in shower.
A retractable, flat screen TV, in an elegant travertine unit completes the furniture. There is cable radio throughout and a safe provided.
Cornflowers are colourful annuals tinged with a rare cyan blue.

This ornamental plant, also used medicinally, symbolizes serenity and optimism. Serenity would be the ability to enjoy the little things in life and optimism towards the future would be the ability to see beyond appearances, fertility and neighbourly love.

Cyan blue symbolizes harmony, as well as tranquillity, enabling one to relax and introduce equilibrium into the sphere of emotions. It also induces a certain impassivity leading the individual to being more invulnerable to any external, hostile “attacks”. Psychologically, this colour represents stillness, fulfilment and inner harmony.

THE YELLOW HELICRIS SUITE

This suite, approx. 46 sq. m., comprises two double bedrooms on separate floors, connected by internal stairs, and a bathroom. The first bedroom is situated on the upper floor of the middle terrace and has a majestic view of the mountain while the second, situated on the lower floor, has a wonderful view of the valley. Each bedroom has a comfortable, king size, double bed, wardrobe, a large desk, retractable flat screen TV in an elegant travertine unit, a corner mini-bar and kettle.

Both rooms have cable radio throughout and there is one safe provided.
The bathroom, equipped with a tempered-glass, walk-in shower has an internal view of the middle terrace.

Helicris is a plant that, due to its many precious properties, has always been used as a remedy in herbal medicine. Its properties cure skin complaints and problems regarding respiratory and digestive systems.
Yellow was chosen for these walls to recall the colour of these flowers. Yellow symbolizes vitality and energy, being the colour of the sun, and is, therefore, associated with light and daytime. In chromotherapy it is used to cure states of anxiety and depression.

THE YELLOW ARNICA SUITE

This suite, approx. 46 sq. m., comprises two double bedrooms on separate floors, connected by internal stairs, and a bathroom. The first bedroom, situated on the lower floor of the middle terrace, has a wonderful view of the valley while the second, situated on the upper floor, has a majestic view over the valley and the swimming pool.

Each bedroom has a comfortable, king size, double bed, wardrobe, large desk, retractable flat screen TV. There is one corner mini-bar and kettle.
There is cable radio throughout and a safe provided.

In herbal medicine Arnica Montana flowers are used for the preparation of homeopathic and phytotherapy remedies, particularly for anti-inflammatory, pain relieving, anti-rheumatic and anti-bruising treatments.
Yellow was chosen for the walls to recall the colour of these flowers. Yellow, symbolizing vitality and energy, the colour of the sun, is associated with light and daytime. In chromotherapy it is used to cure states of anxiety and depression.

THE GINGER FLOWER SUITE

This suite, approx. 47 sq. m. ; situated on the middle terrace comprises a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom.

The twin room, overlooking the Borgo, is furnished with twin beds, a sofa bed, a fine, large, wooden wardrobe, a corner mini – bar and kettle.
The double room, overlooking the valley and the Borgo, has a king size double bed and desk.
Both bedrooms are equipped with a flat screen TV which retracts into an elegant, travertine unit.

The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and has an internal view of the Middle Terrace.

There is cable radio throughout and a safe is provided.
Ginger is a unique plant which has always been considered to have “miraculous” properties. It helps weight loss, relieves symptoms of nausea, alleviates pain and has anti-inflammatory power.
Ginger is still widely used in the kitchen not only to flavour meat and fish dishes but also to prepare deserts, infusions and decoctions.
Its colour suggests burgundy, a combination of two strong and decisive colours – brown and red.

THE PURPLE MALLOW SUITE

This suite, approx. 30 sq. m., is situated on the upper floor of the Borgo courtyard and comprises two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The first double bedroom, which enjoys a beautiful view of the mountain, the Borgo and the swimming pool, has a queen size, double bed, a good quality, built-in, wooden wardrobe.

The second bedroom, overlooking the swimming pool, has a queen size double bed, a good quality, built in, wooden wardrobe, desk, corner bar and kettle. There is also a flat screen TV that retracts into an elegant travertine unit.

The bathroom, overlooking the courtyard, is equipped with a walk-in shower.
Cable radio is available throughout and a safe is provided.
Mallow is a herbaceous plant with important beneficial properties. The word, deriving from Latin, expresses ‘softness’ for its ability to soften and, in fact, the main properties of mallow are precisely those emollients mainly contained in its flowers and leaves. Fresh mallow flowers and leaves can be added to salads or used to flavour dishes.
The colour purple has special significance and it is no coincidence that it is often used in religious symbolism. Purple combines the energy of red and blue and is linked to mental and spiritual faculties. It helps concentration and simultaneously mental relaxation, promotes calmness and artistic inspiration.

THE ORANGE MARIGOLD SUITE

This suite is approx. 40 sq. m. Guests are welcomed into a light, living room where there is a sofa, a pouf, a retractable, flat screen TV in an elegant travertine unit, a cabinet with mini – bar and a kettle.

This room leads into a spacious, double bedroom with a king size, double bed, a sofa bed, a desk, a fine wood wardrobe and a flat screen TV.
Both rooms overlook the Borgo courtyard and are equipped with cable radio and a safe.

Marigolds are herbaceous perennials that bloom approximately every thirty days or at the calends i.e. the first of the month as the Latin suggests. When rubbed between the fingers they release a pleasant fragrance. Apart from being ornamental, Marigolds are widely used as a phytotherapy remedy for their useful and multiple properties.

The flowers’ bright colours, ranging from yellow to a reddish orange, are recalled in the distinctive furnishings in this suite.
Orange, particularly, stimulates liveliness and strength being the colour representing inner feelings and the wisdom in instinct. Above all, freeing the individual from rigid emotional patterns this colour encourages self-esteem, playfulness, pleasure seeking, sociability and friendliness.

DEPENDANCE

Walking among the olive trees, not far away from the Borgo, there is a dependance with six comfortable rooms.

Three of them are located on the ground floor, composed of one bright double bedroom, a single room, one bathroom and a private external courtyard; the others on the upper floor are composed of one large and bright double bedroom and one bathroom, with a breathtaking view of the olive trees and the woods.

In each room there is a minibar corner, a desk, a flat screen TV that disappears into a precious travertine structure and each bathroom, recently renovated, is equipped with a walk-in shower.
